Pharmacological properties
Caffeine-sodium benzoate has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system in animals. It enhances and regulates the processes of excitation in the cerebral cortex, strengthens conditioned reflexes, and increases motor activity. The stimulating effect of caffeine leads to increased physical performance, reduces fatigue and sleepiness.

Indications
Caffeine-sodium benzoate 20% is used to treat horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and dogs. It is used to stimulate the central nervous system in case of poison toxication, defatigation, muscle weakness at different diseases. It is used for heart-vascular system activation in case of cardiac function weakness, hypoexcitability, heart conductibility and depressed cases. It is used to treat chronic myocarditis, myodystrophy, chronic myodegeneration, as a vasodilator for spasms of the vessels in the brain, kidneys and heart.

Avoid mixing the drug with tannin-containing drugs, as well as with drugs that gives an acidic reaction, in the same syringe.
