Pharmacological properties
Tylosin 50 and Tylosin 200 are macrolide antibacterial drugs. Tylosin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level and is effective against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria including:

Indications
Tylosin 50 and Tylosin 200 are prescribed to treat the following diseases:
Bronchopneumonia in cattle, small ruminants, pigs, cats and dogs
Mastitis in cattle
Enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery, and atrophic rhinitis in pigs
Infectious agalactia in sheep and goats
Secondary infections in viral diseases

Dosage and method of administration
Tylosin 50 and Tylosin 200 are administered only intramuscularly, once a day, for 5 to 7 consecutive days. If there is need to repeat treatment, it is necessary to change the injection site. Recommended doses are calculated per 1 kg of animal body weight.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
Avoid using the drug simultaneously with tiamulin, clindamycin, chloramphenicol, penicillins (especially with ampicillin and oxacillin), cephalosporins, and lincomycin, due to a pronounced decrease in the antibacterial effect of tylosin.
Withdrawal period:
meat: 8 days
milk: 4 days
