Ceftonit Forte is used in cattle for the treatment of respiratory infections of bacterial etiology caused by Pasteurella (Mannheimia) haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, for the treatment of necrobacteriosis caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii, Bacteroides spp., Prevotella spp., as well as for the treatment of acute endometritis caused by Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum, as well as other diseases whose pathogens are sensitive to ceftiofur.
Ceftonit Forte is used in pigs to treat respiratory and genitourinary diseases of bacterial etiology, as well as purulent arthritis, omphalitis and MMA syndrome in sows caused by E. coli, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., and other diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to ceftiofur.

Contraindications and special instructions:
Individual hypersensitivity of animals to β-lactam antibiotics. When used in combination with aminoglycosides and/or loop diuretics, especially with existing renal dysfunction, there may be an increased risk of nephrotoxicity. Avoid simultaneous use with tetracyclines and amphenicols is unacceptable, since a significant drop, up to complete loss, of their antimicrobial activity is possible.
