Pharmacological properties
Doxycycline is a semisynthetic tetracycline antibiotic with a broad-spectrum antibiotic activity against many microorganisms including:

Indications
Doxylox WS is used in pigs and poultry to treat bacterial respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases including pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, enzootic pneumonia, mycoplasmosis, and other diseases caused by doxycycline-sensitive pathogens.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
Avoid using the drug in lactating and pregnant sows. Using in young animals is advised to be under the supervision of a veterinarian based on an assessment of the ratio of the expected benefit to the possible risk of its use.
Avoid using Doxylox WS simultaneously with myorelaxant agents, bactericidal antibiotics of the penicillin and cephalosporin groups, antacids, kaolin, as well as mixing with mineral supplements and medications containing calcium, magnesium, iron and aluminum salts due to a possible decrease in antibacterial activity.
Withdrawal period:
meat: 12 days (pigs), 8 days (poultry)
