Ditrim is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative microbes. The drug has proved to be efficient against the following bacteria:

Indications
Ditrim is prescribed for cattle, horses, pigs to treat bacterial infections, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary diseases with sulfadimidine- and trimethoprimsensitive causative agents.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
individual sensitivity to sulfanilamides, diaminopyrimidines and severe diseases of the liver, kidneys and hematopoietic organs.
Ditrim is forbidden to apply simultaneously with preparations of para-amino-benzoic acid (novocaine, procaine, anaesthesinum, benzocaine).
Do not mix Ditrim with other drugs in the same syringe
Withdrawal period:
meat: 28 days
milk: 5 days
