Pharmacological properties
Nitox Forte belongs to the group of combined antibiotics. Oxytetracycline, a tetracycline antibiotic, has a bacteriostatic effect on most gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria including:

- Staphylococcus spp.
- Corynebacterium spp.
- Clostridium spp.
- Erysipelothrix spp.
- Pasteurella spp.
- Fusobacterium spp.
- Salmonella spp.
- Pseudomonas spp.

Indications
Nitox Forte is prescribed to cattle and pigs to treat acute and chronic diseases of respiratory organs, gastrointestinal tract, urogenital tract, pasteurellosis, peritonitis, arthroempyesis, wound and post-surgery infections, keratoconjunctivitis, foot rot, anaplasmosis, MMA-syndrome in sows, and other primary and secondary infections caused by tetracycline-sensitive bacteria

Dosage and method of administration

If necessary or in case of chronic diseases, administer the second injection in 5 days after the first one. The maximum dose to be administered at one site to adult animals is 10 ml, to young animals – 5 ml.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
Hypersensitivity of an animal to tetracycline antibiotics and/or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid intravenous or intra-arterial administration of Nitox Forte.
Use in cardiac, hepatic or renal insufficiency and animals with mycoses, as well as dairy cattle whose milk is used for food purposes, is prohibited.
Withdrawal period:
meat: 35 days
