Pharmacological properties

Nitox 200 belongs to antibacterial drugs. Oxytetracycline has a bacteriostatic activity against most of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including:

Indications
Nitox 200 is prescribed to cattle, small ruminants and pigs to treat infectious diseases, caused by oxytetracycline, including respiratory diseases of bacterial ethiology, pasteurellosis, atrophic rhinitis, enzootic abortion, mastitis, MMA-syndrome, keratoconjunctivitis, foot rot, arthrempyesis, umbilical sepsis, apostasis, peritonitis, vulnerary and obstetric infections, anaplasmosis and secondary infections in viral diseases.

Deeply intramuscularly

1 ml / 10 kg of animal body weight

If required, repeat after 72 hours

The highest dose to be administered in one site: cattle – 20 ml, small animals – 5-10 ml. If the volume exceeds the recommended one, it should be administered into several sites.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
Avoid using Nitox 200 simultaneously with corticosteroids and estrogens.
Avoid using the drug with penicillinic and cephalosporin antibiotics, as an antibacterial effect of oxytetracycline decreases.

Withdrawal period:
meat: 28 days
milk: 7 days
