Pharmacological properties

Ricazol belongs to the group of broad-spectrum anthelmintic drugs. Ricobendazole has a broad-spectrum anthelmintic and ovicidal action against mature and immature nematodes, cestodes, as well as mature trematodes:

Indications

Ricazol is prescribed to cattle and small ruminants to treat nematodosis, cestodiasis,
and distomiasis.

Dosage and method of administration

Restrictions

Contraindications and special instructions:
Hypersensitivity of an animal to ricobendazole. Avoid using the drug at acute
distomatosis, during the breeding period, in pregnant cows during the first trimester,
in pregnant sheep during the first half of pregnancy, as well as in debilitated and sick
animals.

Withdrawal period:
meat: 30 days
milk: 5 days
