Anthelmintic broad-spectrum veterinary drug for cats and kittens with a combination of proven active ingredients against both adult and larval stages of helminths used for prevention and treatment
Milmax-Nita for cats belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group: anthelmintics in combinations. It provides a broad-spectrum anthelmintic action.
Milbemycin oxime, which is part of Milmax-Nita for cats, is a macrocyclic lactone obtained as a result of the enzymatic activity of Streptomyces hygroscopicus var. Aureolacrimosus is active against scabies mites, larvae and imago nematodes parasitizing cats, as well as larvae of the nematode Dirofilaria immitis.
Milmax-Nita for cats is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of nematodes, cestodes and mixed nematode-cestode invasions caused by both larval and adult forms of cestodes, and nematodes, including:
Milmax-Nita for cats is used once during feeding with a small amount of feed or is forcibly applied to the root of the tongue after feeding at a minimum therapeutic dose of 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per 1 kg of animal weight, calculated as follows:

A preliminary starvation diet and the use of laxatives before deworming are not required.
For therapeutic purposes, cats are dewormed according to indications, for preventive purposes - quarterly, as well as before each vaccination and mating at a therapeutic dose.
The veterinary drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications and special instructions:
Individual hypersensitivity of animals to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis), severe renal and liver dysfunction.
Should not be used in kittens younger than 6 weeks of age and weighing less than 0.5 kg.
Animals that are emaciated and sick with infectious diseases are not subject to deworming.
