Pharmacological properties
Cyflunit is a synthetic pyretroid insecticide. Cyfluthrin provides a contact insecticidal and repellent action against dipterous insects including:

Indications
The drug is used in cattle as a preventive measure against carnivorous flies, gadflies, botflies, mosquitoes, and black flies during grazing season.

Dosage and method of administration
Treatment of cattle shall be performed by a veterinarian, a veterinarian technician, or
specially trained personnel under the veterinarian supervision. The dispenser shall
be screwed onto the flask. With the help of the dispenser, a person performing
treatment shall apply Cyflunit to the animal back while moving along the vertebrae
column from the withers to the edgebone at a dose of 10 ml per animal (which
corresponds to three full actuations of the dispenser filled with the drug). Animals
shall be treated during grazing period once in 4-6 weeks. Lactating cows shall be
treated right after milking operations. For animals weighing less than 300 kg, the drug
is applied in a dose of 1 ml for every 50 kg of animal body weight to the skin of the
back along the spine from the withers to the sacrum.
