Pharmacological properties

Cyfluthrin has a strong contact insecticide and repellent action; if is active against imagoes and larvae of insects, including against zoophilous flies (Haematobia irritans, Haematobia stimulans, Musca autumnalis, Stomoxys calcitrans,Wolfahrtia magnifica), horseflies (Tabanidae), mosquitoes (Culicidae), black flies (Simuliidae), gadflies (Oestrus ovis), sheep keds (Melophagus ovinus), tongs (Bovicola ovis), and lice (Linognatidae ovillus, Linognatidae pedalis)

Indications

Cyflunit Flock is prescribed to sheep and goats to treat and prevent oestrosis, melophagosis, sifunculatoses, trichodectosis, and wolfarthiosis, as well as to protect animals from dipterous insects when in pasture

Dosage and method of administration

The drug is applied to the exposed skin on the back of an animal, along the spine from the withers to the rump at the following doses:

5 ml per animal weighing 10-20 kg
7 ml per animal weighing 21-30 kg
10 ml per animal weighing 31-60 kg.

Animals with a weight exceeding 60 kg require additional 1 ml of the drug per 6 kg of body weight.
