Closantel is a salicylamide derivative and has a broad spectrum of antiparasitic action against:

Prior to mass treatment with Clozatrem, each drug batch shall be first tested in a small group of animals (10-15 heads) of different fatness. If no complications occurred within 3 days, the drug is used throughout the livestock. Animals shall receive therapeutic treatment against helminthes, if medically required; animals shall receive preventive treatment against helminthes before transferring them to stables.
Avoid using Clozatrem in lactating animals, as well as in cows, sheep, goats, less than 30 days before calving or lambing, as the drug is excreted with milk.
Avoid using the drug simultaneously with organochlorine and organophosphorus
insecticides.
