Non-hormonal drug used to induce labour, prevent and treat gynecological diseases in animals and increase the fertility rate
Uteroton is used to stimulate labor in case of atony, uterine hypotension, for prevention of afterbirth retention, uterine subinvolution, to increase fertilization, extraction of embryos from donor cows, as a part of combination therapy for the treatment of postpartum endometritis and metritis-mastitis-agalactia (MMA) syndrome in sows.

Contraindications and special instructions:
Avoid using the drug during pregnancy and in young animals. For lactating animals, the drug is used according to indications with caution, under the supervision of a veterinarian.
Uteroton cannot be used simultaneously with adrenomimetics, propranolol prolongs the effect of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants. Sedatives and hypnotics, when used simultaneously with propranolol, enhance the depressive effect on the central nervous system. With intravenous or intramuscular administration of iodine-containing drugs while taking propranolol, the risk of anaphylactic reactions increases.
