Pharmacological properties

Maxinon belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group of fluoroquinolones in combinations. Levofloxacin hemihydrate refers to antibiotics from the group of fluoroquinolones and has a wide spectrum of action on aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative, anaerobic and other microorganism:

D-panthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid. It has regenerative properties, stimulates epithelialization and healing of the skin and mucous membranes, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers, has a moderately pronounced anti-inflammatory effect. It has no irritating effect on tissues.

Indications
Maxinon is used to treat endometritis and prevent the development of obstetric and
gynecological diseases in cows caused by microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin.

Dosage and method of administration
Before the administration of the drug, the external genitalia and the root of the tail are sanitized. If necessary, the uterine cavity is freed from inflammatory exudate.
Maxinon is administered intrauterine using a Janet syringe, at a dose of 50-100 ml per animal, 2-3 times with an interval of 24 hours until recovery. To prevent postpartum obstetric and gynecological diseases after childbirth with complicated and pathological childbirth, surgical separation of the afterbirth and abortions, the drug is administered at a dose of 150 ml per animal once.

The drug is not intended for use in pregnant females and young animals, as well as animals with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.
