Unique balanced complex based on iron and vitamins for the treatment of anemia in cats and dogs
Ferran is an iron-vitamin complex that compensates for the lack of iron, folic acid (vitamin B9) and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) in the body caused by environmental causes, blood loss, nutrition mistakes or diseases.
Ferran is used in cats and dogs for the treatment and prevention of anemia of various etiologies (posthemorrhagic, hemolytic, hypoplastic and aplastic, alimentary).

The dosage and the course of administration are determined by a veterinarian depending on the type of anemia and the condition of the animal. In severe cases of the disease, the drug can be administered again in 10-12 days in the same dosages.
Contraindications and special instructions:
It cannot be used simultaneously with tetracycline antibiotics, as well as with penicillamine, in this case chelated complex compounds are formed that reduce the absorption of iron and antibiotics. When used simultaneously with glucocorticosteroids, increased stimulation of erythropoiesis is possible.
It is forbidden to use in case of hypersensitivity to the iron dextran complex, with anemia not associated with iron deficiency (sideroblastic anemia, lead poisoning), with excess iron in the body, impaired iron utilization, allergic skin diseases, acute glomerulonephritis, with severe disorders in the liver (hepatitis) and kidneys (glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis), as well as acute lack of vitamin E.
