Pharmacological properties

Butofan normalizes metabolic and regenerative processes. It stimulates protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism, improves body resistance to adverse environmental factors and promotes growth and development of young animals.

Indications

Butofan is used in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses for metabolic disorders of various etiology, and as a stimulating and strengthening agent:

for labour activation and prevention of postpartum complications (i.e. uterine tetanus, obstetrical palsy)
for enhancing body resistance to diseases of various etiologies and unfavorable environmental factors
for normalization of the liver function, protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolisms and regenerative processes
as an additional agent for the treatment of diseases caused by calcium and magnesium deficiency
in case of heavy physical exertion and increased physical activity in sports horses (2-3 days before the competition)
