Prednipharm

Prednipharm is used in cats and dogs, including for emergency therapy in conditions requiring a rapid increase in the concentration of GCs in the body, initial therapy and short-term symptomatic treatment:

• skin diseases of various origins (including eczema, atopic dermatitis, taxidermy, pyoderma and other dermatitis caused by parasitic invasions and bacterial infections, as well as leafy pemphigus, systemic red (discoid) lupus and other autoimmune skin pathologies)
• inflammatory processes of various origins (including arthritis, arthrosis, synovitis, bursitis, herniated discs and other inflammatory processes of the articular apparatus)
• systemic diseases of connective tissue, including rheumatism
• in acute infectious diseases (combination with antimicrobial agents)
• bronchial asthma, asthmatic status of the animal
• allergic reactions (acute severe forms), anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic reactions, serum sickness
• autoimmune hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, thrombocytopenia, adrenal insufficiency, progressive ophthalmopathy
• stressful conditions (exhibitions, training)
• shock conditions (burn, traumatic, surgical, toxic, cardiogenic), with the ineffectiveness of vasoconstrictors, plasma replacement drugs and other symptomatic therapy
• some oncological diseases (leukemia, lymphoma, mastocytoma, etc.)

The dose of the veterinary drug, the frequency and duration of the course of treatment are set by a veterinarian individually, depending on the indications, the severity of the disease and the condition of the animal.

• During the vaccination period (immediately before and during vaccination).
• Simultaneous use of Prednipharm with diuretics, NSAID group drugs, anticoagulants and thrombolytics, vitamin D, praziquantel, live antiviral vaccines is not recommended. Barbiturates, phenytoin and rifampicin reduce the glucocorticoid activity of prednisone.
