Pharmacological properties
Onoxeb belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs of the coxib group. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects, the mechanism of which is based on selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and suppression of inflammatory prostaglandin synthesis.

Indications

Onoxeb is used in dogs and cats as an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic agent for inflammatory and pain syndromes of various origins, including:

  • acute and chronic diseases of musculoskeletal system (arthritis, arthrosis, synovitis, dislocations)
  • inflammatory diseases of soft tissues
  • postoperative period

Dosage and method of administration

Onoxeb is administered to animals individually in tablet form or as a suspension, once a day. It is recommended to give the medication separately from feeding.

The most convenient administration is:

  • Onoxeb 5 for animals weighing up to 5 kg

  • Onoxeb 20 for animals weighing from 5 to 20 kg

  • Onoxeb 40 for animals weighing more than 20 kg

Hypersensitivity of animals to robenacoxib.
Severe cardiac, renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Dehydration.
Hypovolemia.
Hypotension.
