Design of veterinary-sanitary measures
during preparation of poultry growing facilities

There are several options for carrying out veterinary and sanitary measures during the preparation of poultry growing facilities, which depend on: kind of poultry to be grown (broiler chickens, breeding poultry, commercial layers); type of poultry housing (outdoor or cages); technological schedule approved at the poultry plant; season; current problems at the poultry plant; available equipment for disinfection and a number of other factors. The poultry growing facilities are prepared during an operation break, which is determined by the production schedule. For broiler chickens, it is 7-14 days and at poultry plants for growing parent stock, young chickens, laying hens
