Tetravit is a transparent, oily light yellow liquid.

Tetravit compensates vitamins A, E, D₃, F deficiency in the animal body. Vitamin A regulates the structure, functions and regeneration of epithelial tissues and thus increases the resistance against infections. Higher doses prevent weight loss and enhance metabolism. Vitamin D₃ regulates metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, influences their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, and has antirachitic action. Vitamin E regulates redox processes, influences carbohydrate-lipid metabolism and enhances the action of vitamins A and D₃. Vitamin F is involved in the synthesis of lipids (especially saturated ones) and cholesterol metabolism, has an anti-inflammatory and antihistamine effect, stimulates the immune system and wound healing. In complex with vitamin D₃ it promotes assimilation of calcium and phosphorus, which is essential for bone tissue.
Tetravit is prescribed to prevent and treat hypovitaminosis; to improve endurance in stressful situations; in case of an increased need in vitamins due to additional loads: during pregnancy (in the second half); lactation, disorders of the reproductive function; during transportation of animals; in case of diet replacement; in case of stunted growth or lack of weight increase; in case of infectious and parasitic diseases (as an adjuvant); during veterinary activities: vaccinations or deworming; after surgery or injury.
