    In appearance drug is flat light-yellow tablets.

    Sepranol is prepackaged in cardboard packs containing 5 foil paper push-through packs with 2 tablets per pack.

    Chlorhexidine hydrochloride contained in Sepranol is very effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, protozoa and fungi. The drug has anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates proliferative processes in the genitalia. Propranolol hydrochloride stimulates the uterus activity and acts as a myometrium beta-adrenoceptors blocking agent.

    Sepranol can be used for cows as an afterbirth expulsion stimulant as well as for the prevention and treatment of acute postpartum endometritis, and for treatment of endometritis caused by microorganisms sensitive to chlorhexidine hydrochloride.

    Sepranol is recommended for use together with Geleron, a gel for veterinary procedures based on natural components.

    For afterbirth expulsion:

    - 2 tablets, by intrauterine route, once;

    as a preventative measure against acute postpartum endometritis:

    - 2 tablets, by intrauterine route, once in 2-4 hours after afterbirth expulsion;

    as a therapeutic measure against acute postpartum endometritis;

    - 2 tablets, by intrauterine route, 2 times with 24 hours intervals;

    as a therapeutic measure against chronic endometritis (including of fungal origin):

    - 2 tablets, by intrauterine route, every 24 hours for 2-5 days.

    With the closed cervix and impossibility of inserting suppositories, the drug is recommended for use in solution.

    To prepare a solution, dissolve 2 tablets in 150-200 mL of sterile water or saline preheated up to 40°C.
