The drug accumulates in the foci of inflammation, increasing the efficacy of treatment
Thermostable product form
Uniform distribution of the drug in feed
Stability of the granules to the mechanical impact provides a low dust formation
Microgranulated tilmicosin, highly effective in treatment of respiratory diseases in pigs and does not affect the taste of feed.
Pnevmotil Feed is light gray to gray brown granules.
Packing: 10 kg multi-layered paper bags with PE inlay
200 mg tilmicosin (as phosphate)
Tilmicosin is active against many Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria including Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, as well as against Mycoplasma spp.
Mode of action: tilmicosin inhibits protein synthesis on bacterial cell ribosomes.
After oral administration of Pnevmotil Feed, tilmicosin is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract of animals, penetrates into most organs and tissues of the body and is excreted from the body mostly unchanged, mainly with excrements and partially with urine.
Pnevmotil Feed is prescribed for young and adult pigs to prevent and treat respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, and other tilmicosin-sensitive microorganisms.
To piglets and adult pigs, Pneumotil Feed is administered by mixing it with food at a dose of 1 to 2 kg per 1 ton of feed (200 to 400 g of tilmicosin per 1 ton of feed) (in order to be more precise in dosing, please, use a dose of 0.075 to 0.1 g of the drug (15 to 20 mg of tilmicosin) per 1 kg of animal body weight) for 7 to 14 days, depending on the severity of the disease. To ensure uniform distribution, the daily dose of Pneumotil Feed is mixed with a small amount of feed (20 to 50 kg) and, then, while thoroughly mixing, is introduced into the final feed amount.
When mixed with food, the drug is stable for 3 months at a storage temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Hypersensitivity of an animal to tilmicosin. Avoid using the drug concurrently with other macrolide antibiotics and bactericidal drugs.
Treated piglets and pigs can be slaughtered for human consumption no earlier than 14 days after Pnevmotil Feed was administered for the last time. In the case of forced slaughter of animals and poultry before the established deadlines, the meat can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals.
2 years from the date of manufacture; after first opening - 3 months
