Pharmacological properties

Nitamin OR compensates for vitamin deficiency in the animal body. Vitamin A regulates functions and regeneration of epithelial tissues, thus increasing resistance against infections. Vitamin D3 regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism and influences their absorption in the gastrointestinal system, as well as decreases the chance of rickets development. Vitamin E regulates redox processes, influences carbohydrate-lipid metabolism and enhances effects of vitamins A and D3. Vitamin C is important for normal growth and increases protective functions of the animal body.

Indications

Nitamin OR is used for prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiency and normalization of animal metabolism in the cases as follows:

-   during stress, decrease of productivity and additional loads;

-   during pregnancy (only second half) and lactation;

-   during dysfunctions of reproductive function;

-   during animal transportation;

-   during diet change for fattening animals;

-   in the case of animal growth inhibition and insufficient weight gain;

-    in the case of contagious and invasive diseases, preventative vaccinations and dehelminthization;

-    in the case of surgical operations or injuries;

-    in the case of diminished performance and decreased durability of hen’s egg shell
Dosage and route of administration
Dosage and route of administration

The drug shall be applied orally together with potable water or feed. If the drug is applied with potable water, the drug shall be added to water (not the other way around) and mixed thoroughly. The drug shall be diluted gradually in clean glassware. Any contacts of drug solutions with disinfectant and oxidizing agents shall be avoided. If Nitamin OR is applied with feed, the drug shall be first diluted in a small amount of water (1 – 10 l depending on the amount of feed), and then the feed shall dampened with the resulting solution and mixed thoroughly.

Nitamin OR shall be applied as a preventative measure once every 2-3 weeks with dose depending on animal type, age and weight. For chickens and pullets the drug shall be applied once, for laying hens it shall be applied twice with 2 weeks interval. If the drug is applied as a curative measure, its dose and number of application shall be increased by 2-3 times. Nitamin or is compatible with other veterinary drugs and feed additives.
