Nicarzin is green yellow granules.
Packing: 20 kg multi-layered paper bags with PE inlay.
250 mg nicarbazin
Nicarbazin is active against all coccidia species parasitizing in poultry including E. acervulina, E. necatrix, E. tenella, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mivati, E. mitis, and E. рrаесох.
Nicarbazin is a synthetic anticoccidial agent, which is a complex of components of 4,4'- dinitrodiphenylurea (DNC) and 2-hydro-4,6 dimethylpyrimidine (HDP).
Mode of action: nicarbazine inhibits the energy metabolism in the body of a parasite. Having anticoccidial properties, it interrupts the life cycle of coccidia at different stages of development; it is most active at the stage of second-generation schizonts.
Nicarbazin is poorly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and exerts its anticoccidial action in the mucous membrane and in the submucosal layer of the intestine. Nicarbazin is excreted from the bird body mainly unchanged with excrements within 6 to 8 days.
Nicarzin is prescribed to prevent coccidiosis in broilers and replacement chickens.
Nicarzin is used mixed with feed at a dose of 500 g per 1 ton of feed (equivalent to 125 mg of nicarbazin per 1 kg of feed):
in broiler chickens — introduced on the first day of life for the entire period of rearing and excluded from the diet only 9 days before slaughter
in replacement chickens — introduced on the first day of life and excluded from the diet at least 14 days before the egg-laying period starts.
To ensure uniform distribution of the drug throughout the feed, a two stage mixing method is used. The calculated dose of Nicarzin is thoroughly mixed with a little amount (10% of a daily portion) of combined feed and then added to a daily portion of the feed.
Avoid applying the drug in laying hens and replacement chicks less than 14 days before egg laying starts. Do not use drug to poultry in case of increase of air temperature of poultry house higher than zoohygienic norms of corresponding crosses and age groups of poultry.
Treated animals can be slaughtered for human consumption (meat and by-products) no earlier than 15 days after the last application of Nicarzin. The meat of poultry slaughtered before the established deadlines can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals.
3 years from the date of manufacture; after first opening - 4 months.
