Ceftonit Forte is a white to creamy white suspended mixture.
Packing: 100 mL glass bottles, sealed with rubber stoppers and flip-off caps.
200 mg ceftiofur
Ceftonit Forte has a broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gramnegative bacteria including β-lactamase producing strains and some anaerobic bacteria: Pasteurella (Mannheimia) haemolytica, Pasleurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, Fusobacterium necrophorum, and Porphyromonas levii.
Mode of action: the antibiotic inhibits the functional activity of the bacterial transpeptidase enzymes involved in the binding of the primary component in the cell wall of microorganisms (peptidoglycan), thus causing the death of the bacteria.
Ceftonit Forte is prescribed to treat infectious diseases in cattle caused by ceftiofursensitive pathogens, including respiratory ones, caused by the following pathogens: Pasteurella (Mannheimia) haemolytica, Pasleurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus; to treat necrobacteriosis caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum, Porphyromonas levii, Bacteroides spp., and Prevotella spp.; and to treat acute endometritis caused by Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, and Fusobacterium necrophorum.
MAXIMUM EFFECT WITH A SINGLE INJECTION
Ceftonit Forte has a high therapeutic efficacy in treating a variety of important diseases in cattle, including mastitis, as evidenced by tests.
