ANIMALPROFI forum goes on putting new marks on the Russian cities map. The 17-th and the second in this year event took place in Voronezh. Voronezh region is traditional agricultural region and now is taking leading position in the country as for the development rate of diary and meet cattle farming. 

More than 100 specialists representing cattle farms from central regions of Russia have visited the project to listen to the speakers presentation and discuss the solutions of the key problems in veterinary and zootechnics with their colleagues.
 

Petr Fendrikov, an independent consultant whose main spheres of interest are the issues of the obstetric-gynecologic diseases of the cattle took part as a speaker. Elena Pavlova, BIOMIN Senior Manager, reported on the visible and hidden threats of the mycotoxines and explained the principles of the bulk food quality management. The other topics discussed by the independent consultants Sergey Pozdnyakov and Tino Hohmut were the feed consumption management at the diary farm and metabolic disease.
 
 

Andrey Vasin, Head of Cattle Farming Branch at NITA-FARM, explained the practical aspects of rational antibiotic treatment in his presentation. Andrey Stepanenko spoke of the problems of breeding in the dairy herd, being an expert in this issue.

Rustam Gulyamov, Cattle Orthopaedics Expert, made a presentation about the prevention and treatment of distal limbs diseases.
 
During two days the participants were looking for the solutions of the taken farms problems and establishing the business contacts during the discussion club section.

Very soon on April 12-13 the educational project team will departure for Yekaterinburg.
