At the end of last week, the eighth annual All-Russian Forum ANIMALPROFI was held this year. The event was held in St. Petersburg. This city was chosen by the organizers due to the great potential of local animal enterprises. Despite the fact that specialists from the Leningrad Region often organize educational seminars, the ANIMALPROFI Forum gathered more than 100 veterinarians, experts, managers and other industry specialists. The majority of participants were from the Leningrad region, including employees of ZAO PC Rabititsy, LLC Lhsevo, LLC Velez-Agrovet and specialists from other large farms.

The organizers of the educational project prepared an extended business program, which was divided into two days. Among topics, the special attention was paid to "Prevention and treatment of mastitis" by Pyotr Fendrikov, Ph.D., veterinarian-consultant, "Diseases of Metabolism" by Tino Hochmut, an independent nutrition consultant from Germany, and "New strategies for managing feed quality“ by Nadezhda Baiman, the company Evrofins Agro - BLGG. Sergey Danilov, the head of the ABS Global's technical and genetic support department, spoke about the management of reproduction, Yevgeny Levashov, a veterinarian, a leading specialist of NITA-FARM, shared information about the prevention and treatment of young cattle diseases, Elena Pavlova, senior sales manager for cattle in BIOMIN spoke on the topic of mycotoxins and threats associated with them, as well as the theme of working with young animals. The participants of the Forum discussed pressing problems in specific farms during the discussion club. Each specialist could ask questions that trouble him, and the expert, in turn, offer a solution.
