ESPHM 2017 International European Symposium took place in Prague on May 3-5; since it was dedicated to the issues of pig health control, NITA-FARM could not ignore such an important event. Representatives from the major Russian hog farms took part in the event together with NITA-FARM in order to learn the worldwide trends in veterinary medicine.

Key issues of pig farming industry were examined at ESPHM. Issues of respiratory diseases and effective ways to detect an epizootic situation at the pig-breeding farm were considered the most relevant.

More than 1500 participants visited ESPHM 2017. Next time the organizers plan to gather even more industry experts and specialists at the symposium that will take place in Barcelona in 2018.
