NITA-FARM seminar in the UAE: exploring new opportunities for veterinary medicine in the region

On May 5th, in Dubai (UAE), NITA-FARM together with its distributor in the UAE, Gozl Veterinary Medicines Trading L.L.C., held an event to mark the launch of product sales in the market. The seminar was attended by owners of dairy cattle, goat, sheep, and camel farms, as well as veterinarians and managers of veterinary pharmacies.

NITA-FARM introduced the participants to the service for modern dairy and ruminant farms in the Middle East — the "Five Elements of Efficiency" program. This program, already well-known to Russian clients, allows to evaluate the quality of current therapy on farms and develop individual recommendations to improve treatment efficiency. The program is based on audits and laboratory research conducted by key experts and opinion leaders from the Middle East and Africa.

The keynote speaker of the forum was Dr. Mahmoud Halima, an opinion leader in the region and a professor at Leiden University (Netherlands). In his presentation, he provided a detailed overview of the rational use of antibiotics and modern methods of treating animal diseases using NITA-FARM products. The session included active discussions between the speaker and participants, allowing for practical questions about the product use.

The seminar concluded with a discussion featuring Ali Asy, Ph.D., professor of Pharmacology at the Animal Health Research Institute, a NITA-FARM’s opinion leader. Participants expressed interest in using our products and noted the relevance of the presented solutions for improving the efficiency of veterinary services on their farms.

The seminar confirmed the high level of interest from the regional professional community in the innovative products and services from NITA-FARM, while also serving as a platform for sharing experiences and discussing the future of veterinary medicine in the Middle East.
