First results of the "Labor productivity and employment support" project in NITA-FARM Company

In the summer of 2019, NITA-FARM joined the national project for improving labor productivity and employment, which was launched to implement the May decrees of the President of the Russian Federation.

On November 15, on a meeting on the interim results of the program implementation, the project team reported on the results of the implemented changes in the sample section "line for automatic packaging, labeling, and packaging of injectable solutions".

Svetlana Barinova, Deputy Minister of economic development of the Saratov region, as well as project mentors from the Federal competence center - Ilya Kozlov and Evgeny Strelnikov has visited NITA-FARM.

The pilot project is designed for 6 months, during which time the Company must achieve the goals of reducing the time of the production process, increasing the efficiency of the production line and generating units per shift from 1 production cell.

During 3 months of work, the team analyzed the current state of the flow and proposed solutions to meet the planned goals. Project coordinator Yana Lisitskaya shared the team's success:

"We have already managed to reduce the total time of the process of obtaining the Nitox 200 product by 3 days. The efficiency of the production line was 75%, and the average hourly output increased to 200 units per person in the stream."

These results demonstrate rapid productivity growth, and even more ambitious goals have been set for the next term of the program, which will cover other divisions of the company.

Oleg Zhukov, Director of NITA-FARM has addressed a message of importance of implementing the project in a competitive market to the employees:

"Increasing efficiency in production is the main trend in recent years. We keep up with the times, primarily in order to offer our customers better products and, of course, at a lower price. Lean manufacturing techniques allow us to reduce production costs and allow us to invest in modernization and launch new production lines. NITA-FARM does not miss these opportunities and continues to develop dynamically, setting a high standard for the entire industry."

The Director also noted the team's desire to scale the project to other production processes and transfer the acquired competencies to colleagues:

"The work that is currently underway is very important for the entire Company. I want to express my admiration for the whole team and your involvement-this is an example of how to approach the business."

The next meeting will be held at the end of January 2020 and will summarize the results of 6 months of participation in the project.
